Millcreek puts more in a gutter than anywhere else we work. The housing averages 1973 and the tree canopy along the creek and up toward the canyon mouth is fully grown, so the debris is heavy, wet and packed rather than loose leaves. Deep eaves on the older houses hide how full a gutter is until it overflows.
Gutter Cleaning covers the same work here as anywhere else we go: what is included, and what changes the price.

Gutter Cleaning across Millcreek
Millcreek is old by valley standards, a 1973 median with six houses in ten predating 1980, and it has the tree canopy to match. Big established trees along the creek and up toward the mouth of the canyon put more in a gutter here than almost anywhere else we work.
What we usually find on Millcreek houses
- The heaviest debris we see anywhere in the valley, wet and compacted
- Deep eaves that hide how full a run is until it overflows
- Downspouts and elbows blocked below the trough, so clearing the top alone does nothing
- Needle drop as well as leaf, which packs tighter and holds water
The housing in Millcreek
The median Millcreek home was built in 1973, and 62.2% of the housing here went up before 1980. That makes it some of the oldest housing we work on, roughly 12 years older than the middle of our service area, so most of what we find here has been repaired at least once already.

Questions
Frequently asked
Why do my gutters overflow when they do not look full from the ground?
Deep eaves hide the near edge, and wet packed debris settles into a dense layer rather than piling up. Plenty of gutters that look clear from the driveway are half full at the outlet.
Do you clear the downspouts as well?
Yes. In an area with this much tree cover the blockage is often in the downspout or the elbow rather than the run itself, and clearing the trough alone would just move the problem.
